Improved Spam Forwarding Controls

For those of your using your Piratefish configuration to handle multiple domains and want improved spam delivery options, documentation is now here to help.

By using MailScanner's invokable scripting, it's possible to invoke a script that tells your Piratefish where to deliver spams found on a domain by domain, or even user by user basis. Using this kind of scripting, it's possible for each domain to have it's own spam handler address, allowing customers to review and retrieve their spam without your direct intervention.

Shouts go to Andy Duplay for helping me with this - and testing.

For those folks wanting to review this, and the other additions to their Piratefish setups, visit the Piratefish 3.0 Tuning Tips and Support page - for all the latest updates. Added features include the handling of Winmail.dat extensions, corrections to the guide and PDF scanning.

Note: I've also posted in *very* beta form, an update that can program your IP Tables firewall in your Piratefish to block mail servers that connect more than 4 times within a minute - this can block folks that are frequently connecting, but it can also interfere with legitimate email from sources like Google, Yahoo and MSN, depending on your deployment. This one's meant for only those who really want to take on a challenge as it's not even been tested or has full how-to's yet on the Piratefish site - but the IP Tables command lines are provided for those with strong stomachs for driving themselves mad.
